Hi,
once the date is set the "need" for reviews is higher, thus the
attention for the patches will be higher too.

Ideally do not try to propose anything large, it's always a pita to
break the sources just before the release (it happened many times to
me). I'd be also hesitant to commit anything controversial before the
release, because it's better when more people test the change, than
just one person.
Bye,
zyx

if I submit a patch to the podofo-users mailing list before May 18th (you
probably mean UTC+0200, right?), but it gets a reviewer's attention only
on or after it, how would that count? Would it be rejected for not being
on time (and not fulfilling the requirements for a commit during code

freeze, I think ;-( )? I ask because sometimes my patch submissions were

accepted and committed by zyx, but weeks after submission, therefore I

fear that some future ones from me might not make it.
Can you relieve me of this fear, please?

I am also excited to get some (more) patches submitted and am happy to help

in the near future.

Therefore I wrote this e-mail.
