I could try to add it since I really need it. Do you have a document/pointers that would describe images and how they are handled in the excel format? It looks like they aren't a specialized cell, like formulats etc since images "overlay" from what it appears. Any help on getting started would be

The feature is not yet available in HSSF. If your images are relatively small it should be relatively simple to add. I can only speak fro myself but I do not know of anyone currently working on this for HSSF 2.0. (Formulas and Graphing are the hot topics for the upcoming release, I expect g

I would like to insert a image into a workbook, does HSSF allow me to do that? I didn't see it mentioned in the docs from what I could see. I have a logo in gif format (can be any format) that I would like to insert in the first row and column of the worksheet. Thanks!! -Rod
