is still an issue in Polipo, although a patch was posted here: http://www.mail-archive.com/polipo-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg00329.html This is a vey serious HTTP bug; if you don't honour Cache-Control: private, Web sites won't trust caches and will resort to convoluted tricks to avoid them (e.g., sending lots of other cache-busting headers, using POST, using SSL, etc.). Is there anything wrong with the offered patch?
