[Q] - It’s funny. The left has been whining about having their
patriotism questioned for so long it feels like they started griping
in the Mesozoic era. Feminists have argued for decades that womanhood
is an existential and metaphysical state of enlightenment. But they
have no problem questioning whether women they hate are really women
at all.

Since we know from basic science that Palin is a woman — she’s had
five kids, for starters — it’s clear that these ideological thugs
aren’t talking about actual, you know, facts. They’re doing what
people of totalitarian mind-sets always do: bully heretics, demonize
enemies, whip the troops into line. -

'Planet' meant figuratively, not literally.

Actually, I was going to say "every real woman in the the country,"
but Palin has also captured the attention of real women around the
world. So I settled on "planet."

As for "my" definition of "real" and "woman" - it means simply that.
The only question now is how many real woman there are, I'm sure we'll
find out in November. My guess based on current trends is 41-million.

Every "real woman" on the planet is not allowed to vote in American

slightest fuck of how you define a "real woman".

In your own distorted way, you're starting to get the general idea.
Good.

Just keep in mind this ain't the movies, but it's as close as you're
likely to get to a Sarah Connor.

The first rule of politics is to win, kinda of, 'damn the torpedoes,

Meanwhile, you best get Obama to grow some balls. And fast.

What's important is who asks them, or what answer the interviewer is

Gaar,

Well, I'm certainly one hell of a lot more concerned about democracy
in the U.S than in the ME. BTW, other than Iraq and Afghanistan what
other countries in the ME have we "brought democracy to"?

When was that famous "purple finger" election anyway? That was a
national election for Parliment members, wasn't it? I wonder why we
never read about elections for province leaders, city majors, local
school board members, dog-catchers, anything like that. You know,
American style democracy. You have any idea?

I am a graduate of the University of Tampa, and the University of

funny, and was generally amused by it, because of your hateful
attitude here lately, I sincerely apologize. I was out of line, and
should not have said something like that. Again, I apologize.)

Okay, you are even more of a loon.

Perhaps a portion of the GOP thinks that good looks is enough to be a
VP, but I guarantee you the majority of Americans do not.

I do believe that appearances are important, however. The appearance
of Palin holding forth her family and mothering skills as making her
eligible for being a VP, when two of her children have a long history
of drug use, including injecting drugs, a daughter who got pregnant
but the supposed father is not so keen on this shotgun marriage
because Miss Bristol was with LOTS of other boys, too...Sarah's
political scandalsher affair with her husband's brother...it goes
on and on and on.

As one Republican friend said to me, "She is a mess. If she can't run
her family, how the hell can she run the United States?"

So not all Republicans are as shallow and gullible as you.

This whole fiasco serves divert attention from the important issues of
the ongoing war and the deteriorating living conditions in America for
which they have no answer for. The are frozen in the midst of their
own incompetence, stupidity and impotency. All that can do efficiently
is kill and destroy, and thats all they have done for the past 8
years, kill and destroy. This is the sum total of the option they have
on the table before them. Fear violence war intimidation

Why is it important that, in your opinion, Mr. Gibson is an MSM hack,
and WHAT is it more important than?

I know, and being more concerned about superficial appearances rather
than substance and truth will be the death of us all yet.

Re: Charlie Gibson Looked Down His Long Nose of Elitism... and there was Sarah!

2008-09-11 Thread d.b.baker

What's more definitive than "all options are on the table"? Even the
MSMers should understand that, just substitute "lattes" for
"options."

Can't really comment on Lincoln/Douglas, I wasn't there. More
importantly, Charlie Gibson is an MSM hack, which made it simple for
Sarah to fill the shoes of either Lincoln or Douglas.

Interesting, my 80-year-old aunt, a fan of Gibson, called to say how
disappointed she was in his condescending attitude - that he was not
"himself" - like he was a "hostile interrogator." No, Aunt, I said,
you just met the real Charlie Gibson, an elitist buffoon of the
highest Marxist order.

So you see, Jimmy Rocket, appearances ARE important in the minds of
everyday people, even fans of the extraordinary and blinding Mr.
Gibson. Because he sat there like a schoolboy twisting his very
expensive shoe into a state of appalling dizziness.

The only answer she actually gave was one i could teach to a fucking
parrot, "all options are on the table". That's it period, the sum
total.

The rest of your post concerned only how she looked and your opinion
of how Gibson looked. Sorry, but BFD. Not exactly a Lincoln/Douglas
debate. Maybe, just maybe he asked the question again because he
wanted something more definitive than "all options on on the table".

Polite but firm, looked him straight in the eye... said she was ready
to take over as president if necessary. Gibson pressed on the Bush
doctrine of "preemption," specifically regarding Pakistan - she
responded "all options are [remain] on the table." He asked again,
claiming he was lost in the avalanche of words, he, and intellectual,
an elitist, a man of astounding stature - "lost."

Interesting, Sarah looked confident, assured - Gibson did not,
constantly twisting his foot, while trying to appear superior,
elitist. Still, he seemed almost appalled by her directness, her stare
- like, 'how dare she!' And looking down his nose like a typical
liberal schmuck just out of NYU.

I suspect Gibson wants a do-over. With all his wonderments he couldn't
rattle her.
