It looks like the recommended way to build is through a Makefile that will call cmake with all the right options. I was able to build (with a few warnings and not much QA yet) by moving cmake from USES= to BUILD_DEPENDS=, and I added gmake to USES=. Let me know if you would like me to carry on or
