I would agree. The reason that I've never updated it is because I've always
felt that the 3.x does nothing but add dependencies and very little in the
way of new features.

Attached is the final release of my last.fm port.

- ugliness of systray

I've disabled the useless crash-report and auto-update

that allows for a bunch of workarounds in the ports tree to be removed.
None of the ICEs or eating too much memory / taking too long to compile
