Hi!
Here is updated port for lsw (0.2 - 0.3). Build infrastructure of lsw
is very light, so instead of patching it I just replicated it in
Makefile. Tested on amd64 only.

Attached. Not that it will make things easier - I trimmed several empty
lines, and it confuses diff.
Also, not yours, but there's a typo in COMMENT (runnnig - running)
which would be good to fix at the same time.
Done.

Oh, it does make things easier :-) Applying it with patch -Ep0 automatically

Can you explain why you want this added to ports, and why gem install

In general OK with me. But IMHO it would make sense to treat all suckless
ports in the same way, as they all use the same/similar makefile/config.mk
for building.
So if we are going this route

So if we are going this route and switch lsw from patching the upstream
makefile to replicate it in the port Makefile instead, we probably should do
the same with all others suckless ports as well (dwm, sic, st, tabbed, ...)?
I agree on this, dealing with similar software in

But for ruby ports, there is little reason to add ports for pure ruby

But is that also true for programs which happen to be written in Ruby,
