LedgerSMB is accounting software.
SMB is short for small to medium sized businesses.
It uses LaTex and PostgreSQL
Dojo will also need to be ported.
The website is ledgersmb.org
It does not run under Windows except as a client to the server
somewhere else.
There was legitimate objections several years ago because the project
hadn't reached a good enough point to be worth importing.
I think that LedgerSMB has come far enough to be ported now.
It's a very active project and now has lots of testing and stable
enough releases to be worth porting.

I have not yet
I want to port LedgerSMB (accounting software) to OpenBSD.
Dojo is needed.
Thanks,
Chris Bennett
Are there places where it cannot be used?
Is it missing anything for OpenBSD?
I'm also interested in porting in some software from Linux,
can it be made to work under a Linux OS?
It uses PostgreSQL, perl and Dojo.
Thanks,
Chris Bennett

Hi guys,
landry@ added burp[1] into ports and while searching for
something easier that bacula/bareos for disk-based backups,
I found burp and read 'Migrating from Bacula to Burp'[2].
What are you experiences with burp?
Are you staying with ports version (2.0.54) because it was said
to be (old)
