I tried the patch below (@conflict, @pkgpath, gcj listed as obsolete
in quirks), but pkg_add chokes if gcj-4.9.4 is installed:

This has various things (in Makefile and the rc script) explicitly set
to the default (MAINTAINER, daemon_flags, daemon_rtable, etc), please just
leave those lines out.
The logging setup in this rc script will break with log rotation,

Hi,
mupdf is able to check pdf signature, but it is using few openssl 1.1.0
functions currently unsupported in libressl.
I patched mupdf to use compatible code for PKCS12_SAFEBAG_get0_p8inf()
and PKCS12_SAFEBAG_get0_safes() functions in order to build it with
libressl.
