Hours ago, my PowerPC machine finished a build of devel/llvm. I tried
to test your diff and my local changes at the same time, but I might
have removed your patch to lib/Target/PowerPC/PPCSubtarget.cpp when I
added my patch to the same file. If your diff gets into CVS, I will
do another build of devel/llvm. A build takes about 29 hours.

My patches for PowerPC try to fix compatibility with GCC when
returning a small struct (40736) and enable -fomit-frame-pointer by
default (41094), but I need more time to test them.

Hi,

ok to import p5-Test2-Suite 0.000111 ?

newer Test2::API. But this is in base Perl and I don't want to
update there.

update print/poppler

2019-03-28 Thread Matthias Kilian
Hi,

update to poppler-0.75.0, some bug fixes, and a new program (pdfattach)
in poppler-utils.

I'm still waiting for my poor old build machine to finish a bulk
build -- tests from anyone with a really fast machine are welcome.

Ciao,
Kili

are there any known problems with the update?

It would be nice if this could make it for 6.5.

bump library minor and add a comment:-

# sqlite suggests that users might like to assert() that library and header
# versions match, so bumps are needed even if function signatures don't change.
# ... at the current time the only one noticed is a < check (in subversion)

So far I have, at least to some extent, tested this with unifi, solr
and josm, they are working fine for me.

Unifi needed a change because JDK 11 no longer includes javax.activation
- it looks possible that elasticsearch and logstash may have a similar
issue so those would be good things to test with it. If they do have a
problem, the quick fix would be to change MODJAVA_VER from the current
1.8+ to 1.8. The more involved fix would be to fetch the class from
elsewhere and figure out how to include it (generally would be easier
done upstream than in ports).

Most java ports use javaPathHelper to determine which JDK version
to use. This normally autodetects based on the dependency recorded
in the package database, but for easy comparison you can just set
JAVAHOME=/usr/local/jdk-11 or JAVAHOME=/usr/local/jdk-1.8.0
in the environment.

[NEW] devel/jdk/11 v11.0.2

2019-03-28 Thread Kurt Miller

JDK 11 is the next long term supported JDK so I figured it
would be a good idea to port it to OpenBSD. The port is
working
well enough to build and bootstrap itself, however there are
likely numerous things that don’t work or are buggy.

The main repo for the bsd-port branch is being hosted by
Greg Lewis here:

https://github.com/battleblow/openjdk-jdk11u/tree/bsd-port

And was forked from AdoptOpenJDK’s github mirror of OpenJDK’s
source. AdoptOpenJDK will be handling the LTS for the JDKs so
this is a reasonable setup for keeping 11u up to date with updates.

The port has been committed and is ready for wider testing.

Intent:
This library is needed for Matrix clients that wish to support the

Question:
There are Python{2,3} bindings that can be built from here. Am I
correct in assuming that these should be a completely separate port?

This is my first attempt at any port, so please advise if you can.

https://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/distfiles/by_cipher/sha256/i0/i0jqWQKis+MzqyGiYC5THoa/+7jlhwiyqKjfpdMlvW8=/at-spi2-atk-2.30.1.tar.xz

That file fetches OK here. Also it is OK on the primary server at
https://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/GNOME/sources/at-spi2-atk/2.30/.

768 bytes is weird. What are the contents of the file you have fetched?

We have no idea what "experimental-port" is doing. Send a WIP port and
maybe someone will take a look.

Unrecognized configure options when building a port

2019-03-28 Thread Denis

I'm trying to make port from successfully compiled software on OBSD
platform before porting. When I do

./configure --with-ev=/usr/local

software configures and compiles by gmake as it should be.

But when I add to port's Makefile "CONFIGURE_ARGS" option like below:

---
...
CONFIGRE_STYLE= gnu
CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --with-ev=/usr/local

.include
---

The CONFIGURE_ARGS are not recognized and return WARNING when making:

---
...
Using /usr/ports/pobj/experimental-port/config.site (generated)
configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --with-ev, --disable-gtk-doc
configure: loading site script /usr/ports/pobj/experimental-port/config.site
checking for gcc... cc
...
checking host to run the C preprocessor... ^C*** Signal SIGINT in .
(do-configure)
*** Signal SIGINT in . (/usr/ports/pobj/experimental-port/.configure_done)
*** Error 1 in /usr/ports/net/experimental-port
(/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk:2444 'all')
---

Please advise.

Is there any chance for this change to be in 6.5?

vte3 (a dependency of xfce4-terminal) is broken on macppc since a whilei (cf
http://build-failures.rhaalovely.net/powerpc/2019-02-04/devel/vte3.log)
and nobody was bothered enough to look. Will probably be the same in
6.5.
