Upstream was very reluctant to make versions but has now started making
versions available for people to use which creates a slight hiccup in updating

Someone who decides to use pledge in a program must evaluate the code
paths that the program _and any libraries that it uses_ might take in
various conditions, and set the pledge appropriately. Additionally
they will need to review future updates to those libraries and adjust
as needed.

This diff is a follow up for the very recent liboil fix for powerpc64.
While trying to fix the issue on powerpc64 through macppc, which was
experiencing the same issue without using gas(1), i've found out that
