firefox 49 cannot play video

Since yesterday's upgrade to current/amd64 and a pkg_add -u, firefox (firefox-49.0.1) will not play any youtube video. Each and every one get buffered but then says If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device. Is anyone seeing the same? Jan
