Hi,
The Descent series of video games was an influential sci-fi
6-degrees-of-freedom shooter from the 1990's. We can already run Descent
1&2 via dxx-rebirth. The source code of Descent 3 was released in April
this year.
The port builds with relatively little modification. I've started a PR

As author of both, I consider fnaify obsolete at this point. While
there *could* be 1 or 2 games that work with fnaify but not

As this is needed for vulkan-loader update, I worry that stalling on
this might lead to issues with ports that rely on recen vulkan API...
Re-attached for convenience.

Hi,
In an attempt to make working with git submodules easier, I would like
to offer this perl script. It is limited to just github for now. It can
work with any github repos that have submodules listed in their
.gitmodules file (not visible in github web interface).
Here are 2 examples:

Hi,
Please find attached a tarball for "volk", a meta loader for vulkan. It
appears to manage dynamic loading of the vulkan library including
simplification of extension management/loading. This is now a
dependency for the latest version of vulkan-tools, so I would like to
import this to proceed w

Hi,
Please find attached the port of Recoil, the successor of the Spring
engine. It goes back in lineage to Total Annihilation from the 1990's
and allows for visually stunning, large-scale RTS battles.

Could you locate the core file (dhewm3.core) and check the backtr
Hi,
DIST_TUPLE can be used for projects with more levels of hierarchy than
single directories for account and project by using '/' in the project
value. This is currently only done by qt5 ports, for example qtbase as
shown here in the sqlports DistTuple table:

Hi,
I'm reaching out because because I have the Recoil engine very close to
a state for a port, but encounter frequent (though not deterministic)
SEGV_MAPERR in the Mesa library that elude me. Sometimes no error
happens on launch and then the game runs beautifully, but the majority
of launches it
