For those wishing to know: Rev. Dr. Molesworth had printed a letter alledging mis-management of the Church of England Church Pastoral Aid Society. This is a reply to those allegations, which explains what the Society was for, its finances and how they were spent etc. It gives a useful insider view of the issues going on in the background at the time (around 1840).
