I came across an add-on for Trac that allows tickets to be updated using
mail.
Email2trac is what it's called and the Postfix install is here:

It has instructions on how to integrate with Postfix. I don't as yet have a

I am pretty sure I can forward incoming mail but outbound mail I am not so
sure about.

We have a user who can't send mail externally but can send mail locally (to
people within our domain) when using Outlook 2003. But with Thunderbird the
user can send receive both externally internally from the same machine.
Naturally if they use any other machine they can send/receive
