Thank you so much for the reply, and thanks so much for Postfix, which I’ve used for many years.  If I continue using QMQP I’ll gather more definitive proof; but it sounds like (a) I have a bug in my QMQP protocol handler (likely); and/or (b) I’m using QMQP in a way it wasn’t designed
