Hello Wietse Venema, Who says they cannot be used? At least one Postfix daemon runs with a non-empty mydestination setting. By default, mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost so if any daemon picks up the /usr/lib64/postfix file that explains everything. I
