Unless the change is *urgent*, just make it, and it is noticed automatically,
before too long.
Changes in databases such LDAP, Postgres and MySQL are noticed right away.

depends on maptype, not postmap
there is no garenti an alias is even removed or added
postconf -n for more detailed help
