now if I could get the Lucent Silver or Gold to work on a powerbook 500
series with powerpc and 9.1 how?
the same airport software I use on Kanga should work with 9.1 on a 500
with pcmcia card cage and power pc chip...

Airport does not run on pre G3, in other words, even if you manage to
hack the installation (e.g. extracting the extensions with Tome
Viewer) it wont run on non G3 Macs.
