Well, I installed 10.2.8 on a Wallstreet/300 with 196MB RAM. It seems to
run OK, though I installed it just to start learning OS X and don't use
it much. It certainly is considerably slower than OS 9 on the machine.
There are noticeable lags in opening windows, responding to mouse input,
etc.

As for "archives" see the bottom of list mail messages, as above.
