*Job Description : * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* *• Build and deploy applications using cutting edge technologies such as Jenkins, Puppet, Splunk, JBoss and Maven.* *• Enforce established branch management process and contribute to improvements.* *• Effectively manage code merge process.* *• Deploy releases to the production environment and help the project teams troubleshoot any issues.* *• Lead Deployment planning meetings and work with project teams capture any risks.* *• Implement and maintain automated tools supporting DevOps processes* *• Execute all DevOps processes and procedures, suggest improvements as needed* *• Work closely with SA / DBAs to troubleshoot complex issues in Dev/Test/Staging environments to help project teams remove impediments.* *• Maintain version-management of software and maintaining a configuration baseline within the CMDB.* *• Work with and attend the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and actively contribute in the review of proposed Change Requests and the Change process.* *• Assist in training and providing work guidance for Development staff.* *• Contribute in continuing CM process-improvement efforts.* *• Work in a time sensitive environment that may require overtime and off-hours.* *• Will frequently interact with Software Leads and Functional Managers and must possess excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) to foster a team engaged approach.* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* *The ideal candidate will have experience with the following platforms and technologies:* *Applications: Jenkins, Puppet, Subversion, GIT, Artifactory, VMWare, ServiceNow, Confluence, mRemote, WinSCP, Splunk, Nagios, Beyond Compare, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Domino* *Programming Languages: Shell Scripting, Java, Maven and JavaScript.* *Server Apps: JBoss, Apache, Oracle and Domino* *ITIL Processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management, CMDB* *OS: Linux, Microsoft Server 2003* *Excellent documentation and communication skills a must.* *-- * *Thanks & Regards* *Ranjith* *Ph:(925) 973-0000 x 232(Off) * *Email: ranj...@allianceit.com <ranj...@allianceit.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Powerbuilder Assignments" group.
