Title: Graphic Designer Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 12+ Months No of Positions: 1 Start Date: ASAP Rate: $DOE Description: Customer is seeking a Graphic Designer to collaborate with a team of curriculum developers, educational business partners, product portfolio manager, project managers, curriculum managers, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with local and virtual teams to develop and maintain graphics and content for internal and external courseware, communication materials, enterprise-scale websites, and other digital assets in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. CORE FUNCTIONS: . Collaborate with a team of curriculum developers to develop Customer course materials . Own the end-to-end execution of projects and be responsible for many overlapping project tasks, monitor and manage the graphics queue . Work cross-functionally and be able to visualize complex technical topics to technical as well as non-technical audiences . Create icons, diagrams, and other visual elements for internal and external courseware . Create print ready marketing collateral for various internal and external events . Coach and guide external vendor team members to ensure on-time, high quality production deliverables; Serve as a mentor within those vendor teams . Coach and guide curriculum developers on converting text to visual elements . Communicate to key stakeholders on status, issues, and resolutions . Stay on top of industry trends and new web technologies; be adaptable and prepared to embrace change; act as the change agent for your team when necessary . Spotlight enhancements, areas of improvement, operational efficiencies, etc. . Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills . Promote and model Customer core values: trust and integrity, leadership, simplicity, adaptability, teamwork and synergy, go beyond and getting things done Job Requirements .
