* * *Role: Senior SAS Developer* *Location: Buffalo, NY* *Duration: 3 months* *Rate: Open all inclusive on c2c or 1099* * * *Phone Screen then Face to Face Interview* * * Send me resumes to a...@resorsys.com ** *Required Skills:* · For the numerous processes and enhancements for the SAS profitability system perform the following duties: · Schedule and execute source data ETL, validate expected results, and communicate with our partner Profitability team within Business Intelligence · Review reports for errors; respond to requests for changes and issues. · Create and maintain comprehensive document(s) listing all data available to Business Intelligence team with concise definitions and source documentation. · Create, test and implement changes to existing/new ETL processes based on requirements. · Maintain Metadata environment for Information Map Studio, Management Console, and Data Integration Studio. · Develop and maintain granular datamart for ad hoc analysis separate from datasets used in reporting (to maintain data integrity). · Create and implement tools enabling BI team to easily access data while maintaining consistency across all projects/analyses. · Assist with coordinating processes with other SAS modelers in BI and in IT. · Assure quality, by creating automated QA jobs. Identify and troubleshoot errors and derive and implement fixes. *Minimum Qualifications:* · Minimum of 5+ years of significant SAS modeling experience. · Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, finance, accounting, economics, or business. · Base SAS programming experience is required. Experience with these SAS tools a plus: ABM, PM, DI Studio. Experience with ETL using Informatica a plus. · Ability to take high-level descriptions of desired end results, and independently determine the path and details required to accomplish the results. · Strong communication and interpersonal required in order to work with technical as well as financial professionals.
