PMP is preferred but not required. Hospitality experience is a huge plus. *Manager note* Experience executing Identity Access Management projects Understanding of PCI and SOX compliance Familiar with the IT Security project scope that includes, but is not limited to, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Privilege Access Management, Security Monitoring and Operational Controls *Additional notes* PMP & MBA highly preferred *BASIC PURPOSE: * The projects span from Global Infrastructure Services to Global Applications, to Information Security, and other projects executed in collaboration with our 9 global brands of the world’s leading cruise lines and 100+ ships. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects related to taking the projects from original concept through final deployment and contributes as a subject matter specialist in IT Security related technology solutions implementation, including software development, infrastructure implementations, and external solution providers such as SaaS and cloud solutions. Strong background and experience in IT technologies, Identity Access Management, PCI, SOX, Privilege Access Management and managing infrastructure implementations are fundamental for success in this role. Some software development experience is a plus. The individual participates in strategic and operational processes by working with members of the senior management team while ensuring IT initiatives achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future projects. *POSITION SCOPE: * Develop and drive progress against integrated project plans. Effectively build and manage project budgets. Manage risks and interdependencies, within project and across projects. Mitigate risks, and drive issues to resolution through effective project and program governance. Setup and facilitate effective project and program governance and stakeholder communications. Advise IT senior management concerning IT issues and their impact to the corporation’s business strategy. Manage projects towards delivery of business results, not only delivery of solutions, and prepare organization for effective post-deployment support and measurement of benefits. In conjunction with the Corporate IT leadership group, develop, maintain, and enforce effective enterprise-wide architecture, processes, procedures, and standards. Actively contribute to the operations group by providing thought leadership in the use of technology to further achieve efficiencies. Ensure infrastructure and application support is managed effectively, with a focus on availability, serviceability, reliability and continuous improvement. *REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: * This position reports to the Director Global IT PMO and Project Portfolio Manager *QUALIFICATIONS: * A baccalaureate degree in computer science or related area is required. An advance degree is highly desirable, particularly an MBA, as well as PMP or PgMP certification. Excellent verbal and written communications in U.S. English. Intermediate fluency in Italian and/or German and/or Spanish are pluses. The candidate should possess a minimum 6 years overall experience in information technology infrastructure implementations, with specific emphasis in the following: Vendor Management. Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ITIL) governance. Project management. Technology planning. Total Cost of ownership. Proven ability to drive change, build consensus, and satisfactorily resolve conflicts. Background in the Cruise Industry will be considered a plus. Experience in an environment of diverse, but related systems, platforms, and applications. Experience directing multi-million dollar budget projects will be a plus. 6 to 8 years’ experience in IT implementing and supporting mixed, complex environments and solutions within the Security field. A firm level of proficiency and technical understanding of applications and systems lifecycle is necessary to fulfill the position responsibilities. Experience implementing technology in support of cruise line businesses is significant plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus solid organization, presentation and documentation abilities, including Visio diagrams and “as-built” documentation. An understanding of project management methodologies and tools accompanied with creativity and innovative thinking to find solutions to complex problems that can balance short and long-term objectives. Understanding of change management, process improvement and organizational analysis. Successful in creating a compelling, credible business case for information technology initiatives. Proven experience in project leadership, communications at different levels, conflict resolution, planning, organization and management. Global perspective. Accustomed to doing business around the world and comfortable working with professionals with diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong experience in technology planning, project planning, team leadership, as well as establishing and managing service measures to ensure organizational effectiveness. Individual must be a proven change leader accustomed to working in a dynamic environment. Strong business judgment, as well as a thorough understanding of technology and a demonstrated track record of delivering effective solutions and systems across multiple environments. Must have strong leadership qualities, be well organized, well informed, capable of leading by Influence, and able to achieve desired goals and objectives while maintaining the respect and support of the organization. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, including remotely or on ships. Ability to travel worldwide on an average of 20% of the time.
