*Position: Android Developers* *Location: Kansas City, MO* *Duration: 12+ Months* *VISA: No Constraints (C2C)* *No # Positions: 2* *Position Overview:* One of our clients seeking for a talented and dynamic Android Software Developer to join our team of highly skilled and accomplished software developers The Android Software Developer will be primarily responsible for writing and maintaining Android application utilizing the native Android SDK. In doing so, this developer will work directly with the Manager of Software Development to design and implement applications for existing Android products; specifically, writing and maintaining the mobile applications, unit testing each application, and documenting how the application works. *Primary Responsibilities:* · Proven software development experience and Android skills development. · Experience with Android SDK. Have published at least one original Android app, preferably for an enterprise audience experience working with remote data via JSON. · Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. · Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. · Experience with iOS app development desirable but not required familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices · Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning develop, document, test and maintain Android applications. · Assist in creating functional/technical specifications for new mobile applications. · Assist in UI design, focusing on usability specific to the Android application. · Take ownership of the project through the entire development lifecycle.
