I've occasionally had this happen with both PM and Safari in OSX. Try a
restart, see if that fixes things.

How can I proceed to change the (sent or received) date columne in the
opposite style of sorting?
On PM 5 (different to PM 4!) the date-column remains on sorting the dates
with the latest on the top and the newest at the bottom - regardless how
often I do click on the column-title.

FYI - my filters, including SpamSieve, work again perfectly (and I am
also again back to default ALL conditions setting) - thanks to CTM
tracking down the problem. Further up the line a filter had been
inadvertently changed (actually it even was the first on in the list) and
it messed up everythin
