Hello
Is there any way to disable that grayish background I get when printing a
message's body?
Thank you

With all the discussion lately about feature requests and how much HTML
code can dance on the header of a pin, I did not want this question to go
unanswered. I don't

(much of my mail is auto-filtered into folders, and locating each bold
folder in a hierarchy to read the new mail would be a wearisome chore).

I'm pretty sure there is an OS X version of LetterRip.
You're right. Funny part is they still have a quote on their site from me that
is close to 9 years old now! ;-)

Even if you paid for a Static IP address, they would probably say the

Wayne makes a valid point in regards the need of a mailing list. My
husband uses post.office which is for both a regular email server and

That is my big one also.
Thunderbird does it, although it has other things I don't like.

One of the best reasons to stay with PowerMail is the responsiveness of
the developer/support team. Posting problems and feature requests here
will get a faster response from CTM than with Apple's team. Not that
Apple does a bad job, it's just that the bigger the ship the less
responsive it is.
1. Integrate it into the main browser window as a tab. I work in 3-pane
mode, and the idea of retaining the folder list on the left with the
remaining area showing *either* the normal browser view(s) *or* the RMW,
depending on what is required seems to me to be a neater solution than
having two
I've put these feature requests into the mix at various points in the
past but I thought I'd reiterate them in one coherent chunk, as they all
pertain to the Recent Mail window (RMW). I LOVE the recent Mail window,
and in fact I read nearly all of my email from there, only needing the

Hi Dan;
I agree entirely with Michael when he says that this is really a matter
of opinion, and everyone should choose the application that's right for
them. I dip into Mail every time they bring out a major new version (ie.

I've enjoyed using PowerMail, but because Mail has caught up with
PowerMail (and exceeded it in some cases) it's time to move on.
This is obviously a matter of opinion, but if this is the way you feel
then you're making the best decision for you! In fact, your point about

I've been a PowerMail and SpamSieve user for 3 years now, ever since I
moved from OS 9 and Claris Emailer. When I switched to OS X, the Mail
program was woefully inadequate. It has improved tremendously since
then, and I recently decided to make the switch. Here's why.

Actually, no. :) But it's a commonly recommended solution.
