Subject: [EXTERNAL] [powernet] 4 DAC-hours in 7 Days

Quick Benchmark Question:

Duke Energy currently requires a whole body count or other follow up on any
worker who exceeds 4 DAC-hours in a rolling 7 day period. This is difficult to
track and we are considering changing to require a whole body count or other
follow up only when an uptake that might exceed 10 mrem.

QUESTION: Do you know of a regulatory or other requirement that requires
tracking 4 DAC-hours in 7 days? (This requirement exists in the December 2009
EPRI alpha Guidelines but NOT in the current Guidelines.)

Thanks in advance.
