19th IEEE International Conference in Program Comprehension (ICPC) June 22-24, 2011 * Kingston, Ontario, Canada http://icpc2011.cs.usask.ca ICPC is the principal venue for works in the area of program comprehension, which encompasses both the human activity of comprehending software and the technologies for supporting the program comprehension. The conference features the presentation of research papers, posters and tool demonstrations, industrial challenges, workshops and a student research symposium track. ICPC 2011 is the ideal venue for meeting and learning from colleagues from around the world. The conference promises to provide a quality forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present and to discuss state-of-the-art results and best practices in the field of program comprehension. The program includes 18 full research papers, 7 short papers, 5 posters, 5 tool demonstrations, 10 student symposium papers and 2 Keynotes. We will have sessions on Concept and Feature Location, Empirical Studies of Programmers, Automating Support for Program Comprehension, Collaborative Program Comprehension, Aspect-Oriented Programming, and Software Evolution. We will be having two exciting keynote presentations. The keynote speakers are Leon Moonen Building a Better Map: Wayfinding in Software Systems, research scientist at Simula Research Laboratory in Norway, and Margaret Burnett of the Oregon State University in USA Males and Females Developing Software: Are Programming Tools Getting in the Way? In addition, the award for Most Influential Paper from IWPC 2001 will be given to Margaret-Anne D. Storey University of Victoria, Canada, and she will give a presentation on An Interactive Visualization Environment for Exploring Java Programs: SHriMP Views Revisited.
