One of my clients got this nasty virus.  It blocks safe mode too.   I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but they said that if you go into safe mode with command prompt and run control.exe, you can create another administrator account, log into it, and  clean out the virus.   But it actually

Sorry Tracey. Made no difference. Another real baffling thing is that no matter what I do, the top row in the grid displays a wrong record. After the Valid in the combo box, I set filter and go top. The top row is not per filter condition. What's worse, it displays the top row because it somehow
