Interestingly we had this issue occur yesterday, and a Ransom Malware similar
or the same as the one described was involved. It has indeed taking out all
files, not specifically .dbf's that were not in use.

Just had a customer have every DBF on their system encrypted by this. It
targets all MS Office and general business file extensions, of which DBF
is one.

And it will encrypt them across network connections, too.

Why, no apology necessary - it's only like accusing you of being from
Georgia or something :)

Not at all. And it's been around for at least a couple of years, though
there are variants that put up the same ransom demands and lock the user
out of the computer for all intents and purposes without actually
encrypting any files.

Thanks Rick.
Maybe I'm getting dense in my old age, but I read and re-read what they
sent me and it just didn't make sense as to how the information is being
distributed. In the past an email would arrive with a link to click, you
log in, and it just did what was necessary. Now there appears

Hi
Is it possible to replace the header of a grid cell with a textbox.
The form is something like this
ProductRedYellow Blue
Product 1 Yes No Yes
Product2 No Yes No
So product1 is available in
No, it isn't possible. Not with the the native grid anyway, and I don't
remember even ever seeing a third-party ActiveX one that does it either.
I would fake it - detect a double click or right click on the header and
instantiate a textbox in code, using the co-ordinates of the header,
i.e. place
What about a short cut menu with the choices?
Otherwise as Alan says a textbox hidden that shows on a click is quite
effective.
