I have 15 identical Wyse VX0 V90L XPEdevices that I purchased used on
Ebay. I have been trying to get all the parts lined up so the terminals
can connect to an FTP server and download their configuration but I keep
going in circles. I'm thinking to connect with an expert on JustAnswer.com

Hi Wayne,
after the READ, there is no more 'event' you can work with (I mean there are no
more active GET). So, yes, _curobj can only be set in functions (clauses ?)
called from a @GET command. I remember that you can also set the first GET to
be active in the READ statement but I don't

Hi Wayne,
You need to set the _CUROBJ in the valid of another object. Usually
when something has happened and you want the input

the SQLStringConnect function are returning the same handle? If so, is it
possible you have some shared connection option set? I know there is a SHARED
property for connections in VFP although I don't believe that is

Thanks Ted
I highlighted the SQLStringConnect line in the watch window and dragged it to
the command window - IOW am issuing _exactly_ the same command
There is no typo in cConnectionString - and even if there were I would expect
SQLStringConnect to return -1
I have put an AERROR(test)
Thanks Alan
Tried that - no difference :(
