Well, the assumption there is that being watched in stores is a good
thing, for anything other than in-store security reasons.
Ok, I see - so it picks up a graphic (I'm guessing 1 pixel will do) from
a website which logs the visit (like you see Google doing repeatedly).
Shouldn't be too difficult to script, I might play around with that.

I'm not thrilled about being tracked that way in stores, or about
having my purchases tracked and analyzed. I feel the same way online,
where I (should) have more control about what comes and goes from my

Pretty cool how it works - however if it's still using a hidden image
then it won't work for anyone who reads mail in text-only form, or has
auto download of images turned off, and so on.
