Hi, I've compiled 1.3.6-0.1.rc2. and I'm having this error each time I start proftpd:
mod_ctrls/0.9.5: error: unable to bind to local socket: Address already in > use Running the debug level 10, I get: 2016-09-07 12:04:14,195 xxxxx proftpd[20354]: using PCRE 8.32 2012-11-30 > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 xxxxx proftpd[20354]: using TCP receive buffer > size of 87380 bytes > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 xxxxx proftpd[20354]: using TCP send buffer size > of 16384 bytes > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 x <http://cviadsge03.office.comscore.com>xxxx > proftpd[20354]: testing Unix domain socket using S_ISFIFO > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 x <http://cviadsge03.office.comscore.com>xxxx > proftpd[20354]: testing Unix domain socket using S_ISSOCK > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 x <http://cviadsge03.office.comscore.com>xxxx > proftpd[20354]: using S_ISSOCK macro for Unix domain socket detection > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 x <http://cviadsge03.office.comscore.com>xxxx > proftpd[20354]: mod_memcache/0.1: using libmemcached-1.0.16 > 2016-09-07 12:04:14,196 x <http://cviadsge03.office.comscore.com>xxxx > proftpd[20354]: mod_ctrls/0.9.5: error: unable to bind to local socket: > Address already in use I've tried stopping proftpd, removing everything under /var/run/proftpd, starting proftpd again. The sock file gets recreated and I get the same message. Any ideas? Thanks, Sergei
