Refleksi: Yang punya duit banyak dengan jalan tidak halal mungkin ini tempat
yang baik untuk bersembunyi sambil menikmati duitnya dengan aman serta nyaman.

Expats Can Obtain Permanent Residence Permits for Bahrain
                  M. Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Arab News

RIYADH, 21 September 2005 - Expatriates who fulfill certain
conditions can now obtain permanent residence permits for Bahrain.

"All they are required to do is buy an apartment in a Marina
West housing project in Bahrain; that will guarantee the buyer a permanent
residence permit," said Hazem Janahi, executive director of A.A.J. Holdings,
the promoter of the SR1.2 billion housing project. It is the first project, not
relying on reclamation, to be developed on the beach in Bahrain.

The project which covers an area of 75,000 sqm has already
attracted investors from other GCC countries, mainly Saudi Arabia. Many of them
want a first or second home in Bahrain.

The location of the project on the island's west coast near
the Causeway is very convenient for those working in the Kingdom's Eastern
Province and whose families choose to live in Bahrain.

"A total of 1,200 apartments will be available for freehold
sale," said the executive director. Of the 11 towers, the main 30-story tower
will be a fully-furnished apartment hotel. Six of the residential towers will
have 24 floors each and the other four will have 18.

Janahi said the project would provide a self-contained
township for residents with all entertainment and recreational facilities. "It
will consist of a canal beach with entertainment facilities and a marina for
small boats. The complex will have six or seven swimming pools, besides a
private swimming pool attached to the penthouses in the different towers," said
a statement released by the construction company. Other facilities will include
a shopping center, restaurants, coffee shops, medical services, nursery, ATM
and retail outlets.

"It will be an environment-friendly project that will respect
the culture and customs of Bahrain," said the statement. The official sale of
the 1,200 apartments will begin next week.
