We have been messing with SourceSafe to see if we can check in and out jobs
from an archive to handle rev control of boards and schematics. We noticed
that the read only thing happens when we check the job files in and leave a
copy behind...
I'm curious how you all handle revision control and
My company sent me to a 3-day Protel training at one point for around $1300.
The training price was by far the cheapest in comparison to the airfare +

Just got this in the mail the other day... looks like Orcad has come down a
lot on their PCB tools. Right now you can get Orcad Capture/Capture CIS,
PSpice A/D, Orcad Layout, and Specctra for $7500 with one full year of
service and support. I think before we bought our second Protel license we

It's a pity, as it did sound worthwhile until I got to the bottom line.
Why, yes, and they want a chunk of it!
As for simulation, it

Seems to be resonable.
Just confirm that the groups aren't too big.
We once arranged a half day private course at our distributor.
Meaning there were just the two of us plus the instructor.
We weren't told things we already knew as it may happen in bigger
groups but could get a fast update on
