Re: [PEDA] Mouse driver complaints - there's one one every list

2002-11-15 Thread Rene Tschaggelar
That's why you get another 2 or three mice when you find one that
suits your needs. Just assuming a mice to be a trivial device that
always works under all circumstances is a bit blue eyed.

Hi all,

Remember that mouse driver thread that was going around a few months
ago? Well I'm on a list for an embedded C cross compiler and I thought
you'd get a kick out of this. A guy named 'Leif' started the thread
(near the bottom) and a guy named 'Richard' is the person that wrote the
tool. I've cleaned it up for easy reading:

i think that sounds pretty normal
(hitting END a lot)

have you checked the 'clean redraw' box?

Just wondering if the following is normal or if something weird is going
 on (P99SE, SP6, W2K)

 1. When toggling through layers with the +/- keys or clicking on the layer
tab with my cursor I must press the END key in order to refresh my screen to
see the layer that I have just selected.

 2. When moving a Ref Des with my cursor AND I hold down the CTRL key, so as
to not snap to any near by objects (i.e. the little lines in a polygon
plane) the ref des, part, and all surrounding circuitry disappears. It looks
like a small rectangle hole in the board. I can see the grid. I must press
END to refresh the screen to bring the part back. It doesn't do this when I
 hold down the CTRL key.

Does this happen to anybody else? I guess I've just gotten used to pressing
the end key a lot. But it would be nice if I didn't have to.

Re: [PEDA] Update several PCB footprints from library.

Don't know the answer but if anyone does I'd love
to hear it too. Could solve yet another too many step process from this
system. And one would think
that when the update footprints is checked while
doing a synchronize it would do all of them,
but no.

 Hi,

is there any way to update all footprints in the PCB from library?

Currently I press Update PCB button after editing each component in
library,
 but it's too annoying.

 Yuriy.
