We use it and find it a very usefull tool. It is comprehensive in its
capability and extreamly easy to use.
It would be even nicer if there was a way of interfacing it to Protel
directly for component selection etc...

Nicolas et al,
we use Parts Vendors in our shop for all engineering related
components and BOMs. We also use it in a multi-user environment (20 users,
approx. 5 users with edit priviledges) and have not experienced any issue
with the multi-user operation that we know of.

I use it and am very happy. The hardest part is setting up a numbering
system for your parts. Very good customer support and good upgrade / update
policy.

I think there may be a bit of confusion between Shift-Del (cut selection)
and Ctrl-Del (clear selection). Both appear to 'delete' the selected
objects from the workspace, however Shift-Del moves the selection to the
Protel clipboard, whereas Ctrl-Del does actually delete the selection.

I forgot to add that when using Shift-Del (cut) you're prompted for a cursor
position to be used as a reference for when pasting elsewhere, and not for
Ctrl-Del for obvious reasons.

Not that it is of extreme value, but still it was promised and I haven't
seen it appear yet.
Thanks,

The 'simulator-engine' protel uses is XSpice, an extended Spice3.
It is very powerful and you can substitute almost any
'non-standard-Spice-structure' of e.g. PSpice. IsSpice uses the
XSpice-engine too, so it might be just a very small problem to fix in the
IsSpice-model to become accepted by the
