I have noticed poor time performance in the place processes and am wondering
if this might be a glitch in my system or an endemic P99SE problem.
Specifically, when I use the toolbars to place library objects onto the
schematic sheet, there is a longish delay of between 5-15 seconds

I've developed a work-around for the problem I presented. I'm able to
automatically supress the part-type and ref-des text for only the components
I am placing at a given instant and bypass the place part dialog box,

Is there any way to export Protel99SE SCH librariy to
a format, which could be read by PCAD2001?
Library export doesn't do the job.
I tried to save the library file as ASCII but it's not
very helpful.
Any tips?
