Mike,

I wonder about one point you made "Custumizing is very limited. I exceeded this program's abilty in a few hours. I exceed the original DXP release in about 30 minutes.".

Are you aware that the scripting is available (by appropriate processes) to the customization engine? Also, scripting exposes the full power of the underlying objects and data structures, not like P99SE scripting which was *very* limited. Delphi servers were needed to expose things, now you don't need Delphi - still need to understand the complex calls and functions to actually get access to the data. I am just surprised that you are able to get across DXP/P2004 customizations so quickly. I think they are more powerful than the P99SE equivalent - so I assume you were also not impressed there.

Maybe I have missed something.

I actually don't find customizing in DXP/P2004 all that easy - I keep forgetting that you are editing the menus themselves not a tree like view of the menus like in P99SE. But once I remember this I am not sure how it differs from P99SE.

DXP and P2004 have suffered from the Info buttons not doing anything making it hard to get info on the processes and their parameters. Only just recently has this problem been publicly acknowledged and will be (supposedly) fixed in SP1 for P2004. It has only been complained about since the release of DXP (actually before the release).

Ian
