Re: [PEDA] Potentiometer query?

2001-07-17 Thread Eric Bobillier

HI
To fix the value of the wiper, you must set the 'SET' parameter ( partFeild)
with a value include between 0 and 1.
0= 0%
0.5 = 50%
1= 100%

Eric

[PEDA] Potentiometer query?

2001-07-17 Thread Richard Thompson

Hi people,

Sorry to repost this again, but the silence was unbearable :-) Can anyone
help / PLEASE?

Does anyone know how i can adjust the wiper position of a potentiometer in
the stepped value section of the simulator on Protel 99SE SP6. i can only
see options for stepping the actual value (pot total resistance)

Also can anyone point me to a formula or link to a spice model for a
logarithmic scale potentiometer for use within the simulator on protel 99se
sp6? ie. so that if i specify the wiper at 50% the resistance is not 50/50
but log law.

Are there any addons available for the simulator that will allow a dxf or
similar output of curves? it seems dumb that this cannot be done as default
(or is it just me?)

Help much appreciated

[PEDA] POTENTIOMETER

2001-07-13 Thread Richard Thompson

Hi

Does anyone have a formula or a link to a spice model for a logarithmic
scale potentiometer for use within the simulator on protel 99se sp6?
ie. so that if i specify the wiper at 50% the resistance is not 50/50 but
log law.

hopefully this will be the last stupid question guys :-)
