Yes - I also place testpoint components in the schematic, and rely on the DRC to find nets that I've missed. That seems to get full coverage every time, no problems (my main customer requires 100% testpoints). An unfortunate side effect of placing testpoints on the schematic is that it masks single-node net errors, since all nets have a testpoint... Sometimes, a final paranoid ERC, having deleted the testpoints from each page, gets done, just to clear this blind spot.
