Re: [PEDA] interactive routing fill ??

2002-04-17 Thread Robison Michael R CNIN

my apologies. it appears that i have found the answer
to this question on p.491 of the old protel 99 book. it
says that i merely start the fill on the corner of an
object which has the net name i want the fill to be.

thanks, miker

Subject: [PEDA] interactive routing fill ??

hello,

i'm doing some interactive routing to match some old hard-
copy art work for a board. some of the traces flair out
into small planes. i've done a fill before, but never with
an interactively routed trace.

any information on how to do this would be appreciated.
i did a schematic for the board, and i want to maintain the
integrity of the design rule check, and not have it go
off the charts flagging some fill it doesn't recognize.

sorry if some of what i've posted doesn't make sense. i've
been using the package now for more than a year, but for
the most part its been a tunnel-vision affair, reusing the
same techniques again and again. doing a legal fill with
an interactive rout is uncharted territory for me.

thank you, miker
