Hi Dennis, I have looked at your suggestions, and I have made 1 change to the program, so it now always puts in the hyphen for consecutive designator numbers, whilst stripping similar prefixes. The other suggestions are noted, but I will have to put them on the back-burner for now. Your comment about the 'unformatted' option is noted, but all I've written there is a 'dumb' bit of code that simply looks at similar Part Types and Footprints, and tots them up without even looking at the designators. It's probably just a matter of preference, so I've written what I prefer! The code is unlocked, so anyone can play with it and perhaps come up with some better ideas.
