Check the following: - Absolute and relative origin of your Layot - Size of the Layout (including eventually off board primitives)
Then go to the advanced tab of the gerber settings and check - if the film size is sufficient for your board - where on the film your artwork will be placed, if I remember well the options are with respect to relative origin, with respect to absolute origin and centered on film. If one of the origins is checked, then it may be that your artwork is placed outside the film even if the film size would be sufficiently for your layout. I hope I could explain clearly enough what I mean.
