i am somewhat of an enthusiast for such widgets
the 'short squeak' by global (ugh) was pretty good but no longer made
(it is/was an audible milliohmeter)

which of the 3 models did you get?

the top of the line one looks a bit intimidating and maybe harder to use
for everyday purposes?

the middle one looks nice
