Hi Ray, 

The standard DOS text format is ASCII. Just give them a text file that isn't
made with any word processing file but is a standard ASCII text file... they
should be able to read that. 
The normal output from Protel 99SE for pick and place, is available in 3
option, CSV or comma delimited text, spread sheet or Excel format, and
'text'.. which is ASCII text. 
Hope that helps clear it up... I know the options can be a little cryptic if
you have not seen them before.
