An International NGO seeks qualified candidates for the following
positions on a major USAID-Funded Civil Society Program. These will be
full-time positions with a start date as early as September 2005.
1. Civil Society Specialist
The successful candidate will have senior level experience in the
management of Non-Governmental Organizations; a successful track
record in advocacy, constituency relations and fundraising and in
addressing the organizational and strategic development issues faced
by NGOs.
Experience in managing donor –funded programs (particularly USAID) is
a plus.
2. Advocacy Specialist
The successful candidate will be a senior level professional with
experience in the development and successful implementation of
national advocacy campaigns. Demonstrated knowledge of the tools and
techniques associated with effective advocacy as well as knowledge of
the organizational and strategic development issues faced by Romanian
Civil Society is a must.
3. Grant Specialist
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the
administration of donor-funded grant programs.
4. Senior Legal Advisor
The successful candidate will be an experienced legal professional
with extensive knowledge of the legal issues faced by Romanian Civil
Society. Direct experience with NGO/Civil Society sector is a must.
