He´s from the rockiest part of Ireland - Donegal - and now he´s looking for gold in the rocks of Transylvania. But feeling at home among them is one thing and persuading local and national authorities as well as environmentalists that searching for the precious metal there is safe is quite another. But Aston, vice-president of Rosia Montana Gold Corporation, is using his well-earned experience to do just that. His, and his colleagues´, efforts culminated last week in a comprehensive report, entitled ´Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)´, amounting to several thousand pages submitted to the government and related institutions.
