I just updated from the Protext in Sep. 2008 Tex collection to Protext
2.2.3-091410 and have problems with commands from a windows XP command
prompt The command:
tex produces dvi
pdftex -> dvi !
latex -> error msg "unknown format name/engine: latex/pdfTeX"
pdflatex -> pdf
I known that I could use "--output-format=..." but I have a lot of batch
files and the commands worked correctly/as expected in the Sep-2008 version.
Also MiKtex "update formats" gives error message "Unknown engine pdfetex"
